Maiya Carter is a working actress with representation in Los Angeles and experience in film, stage, and commercial work. Maiya is also a regular performer for the Paper Plane Theatre Company "Spotlight" stage series. As a member of the Clark County School District, Ms. Carter works with middle schoolers and high school students in their performing arts classes; helping them learn everything from stage hand work to the basic fundamentals of acting. What Maiya loves most about teaching young talent the craft of acting is guiding her students to explore their creativity in a safe and caring environment. Ms.Carter’s coaching has a focus on instilling and reinforcing the fundamentals of acting, auditioning, camera work, self confidence and positive social interaction.
